HOW TO ORDER
Orders may be placed by email, phone or in writing. You can also place an order and pay online via Paypal (see below). Please indicate the title, issue number (or date if appropriate), grade and price of the item(s) you want.
We do not currently accept payment by credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Switch) direct to us, but can accept payment via Paypal (see below) or by cheques or postal orders made payable to Frog Bros Comics and Books. If sending payment, please remember to add an amount for postage and packing. See below for details.
Please note that the minimum order is £10, not including postage.
Paypal orders will be despatched following receipt of payment. Orders where the payment is by cheque will be sent as soon as possible, but we may require cheque clearance before despatch.
Whilst we make every effort to keep the site catalogue listings as up to date as possible, inevitably there will be occasions when an item has already been sold. In the event of any comic you order having sold, we will immediately refund that portion of your order (or in the case of orders by card, we will only charge for the comics we can supply). We do not issue credit notes (unless you specifically prefer this and request one), nor do we require you to list alternative choices (although you may do so if you wish). We do however recommend reservation by telephone or email to avoid disappointment. Comics may be reserved for a maximum of 7 days pending receipt of payment.
If you see something you want, we strongly suggest you contact us right away. Many items sell very quickly as soon as we list them.
Orders can of course
be picked up form our stall on Boscombe Market, The Precinct, Bournemouth.
TIME PAYMENT SCHEME
We will consider spreading the cost of any order in excess of £100 over a number of instalments to suit your individual budget. If this is of interest to you, please contact us to discuss an arrangement.
PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL
Payment may be made online via Paypal, to use this payment method we will give you the Paypal payment details when the order is processed. If you choose to pay by this method, it is essential that you contact us BEFORE making payment to ensure the item(s) you want is/are available. We will then confirm the amount to pay including appropriate postage and packing charges along with our account details.
POSTAGE AND PACKINGIt is our promise to our customers to never charge more than we are charged by the Royal Mail or any other delivery company to deliver the goods.
We are a very young company and are still looking into ways in which we can cut down costs to our customers, our delivery price list will be posted here just as soon as we can be sure we are giving our customers the best deal. Until then we will give you the entire price for goods ordered including postage along with the confirmation email for your order or by telephone or in writting if preferred. We will only charge you as much as we are charged.
All our comics are sold in comic bags, additionally if requested we can also package goods with backing boards. We package everything securely in boxes or padded envelopes with protective boarding to ensure there is no damage in transit.
